What Causes Burning Sensation In Vagina During Intercourse While Suffering From Appendicitis?
I m 20 years old, I just recidently found out I have appendicitis and I have been drink antibiotic. I stop 2 weeks ago. I notice that when I have intcourse it burns afterward for about 20min but it doesn t hurt when I pee or itch. I m not sure what s it could be. I also have seen some white discharge and also on my tounge. I m not sure if it could be a yeast infection because of the antibiotic I had to drink.
Hello, Thank you for asking at HCM. I carefully read your question and understand your concern. If you had a long course of antibiotics it may cause you vaginal yeast infection. Oral yeast infection is uncommon in adults after antibiotics so the white color in your tongue is not related to yeast infection. If you have vaginal burning I would say make sure you avoid vaginal douching and every soap or washing solution for genital hygiene, just use warm water to wash there, dry well and gently, use cotton underwear and if still symptoms than yeast infection is very likely and you might need treatment locally with antifungal ovules for few days or one dose of oral antifungal tablet. Hope this is helpful to you and answers to your question
