What Causes Burning Sensation In Vagina During Pregnancy?

I am 6months pregnant and constantly have a on and off burning feeling inside my vagina and especially after sexual intercourse. I have had plenty check ups and cultures ran and they all come back normal. Do you know what can be causing this burning sensation?

Hi,welcome to HCM. After going through your history it seems the problem is because of hormonal changes.During pregnancy progesterone increases and estrogen decreases so it causes all this problems.I like to suggest you better avoid sexual intercourse for time being. YOU can use estrogen containing ointment after consulting your treating doctor. No need to worry much.It will go off after delivery. Good luck.thanks.
