What Causes Burning Sensation In Vagina During Urination?

Hi, my daughter, 37 years old, 190 lbs, 5 8 tall. Dyed her hair last night, and without thinking, stepped into the shower and rinsed. She has had a burning sensation around the vaginal region since trying to urinate earlier today. She says the whole area is burning. Anything she can do to lesson the burn?

Hello, I really appreciate your concern. From your description I think your daughter is having some kind of allergic reaction due to hair dye. If a lady with similar symptoms comes to my clinic I would examine for any redness or rash around the area. If there is redness and itching, I advise you to have some anti allergic medication. To relieve burning she can apply lignocaine jelly around the vaginal area.
