What Causes Burning Sensation Near The Eyelids While Crying?
Similar question regarding why skin burns when crying. for me the area that s the worst are my eyelids, lower part of the upper lid being the worst and then the corners and top part of the lower low. It more than just stings, it s painful, so much that I hate crying and wish to do anything to stop it, I don t even care why I was sad. Even the inside of my nose burns

Hi,
Those areas are having increased blood supply during crying and other intense emotional stimuli. When a person cries, tear production increases. In other words, these areas have an intense sympathetic nervous system response.
