What Causes Burning Sensation On Back Near To Rib Cage?

5 days of burning sensation left side of my back just below my rib cage. The area is about 3x3 inches. I also have a smaller spot on my abdomen to the left of my belly button. No redness or rash, painful when clothing touches it. Any ideas of what it could be and a way to get relief?

Hi thanks for using HCM
According to your complaint
it could be viral infection
HERPES ZOSTER
apply ACYCLOVIR Cream on the lesions,
Tab Acyclovir 800 mg 4 times daily
for 5 days.
If burning pain persists GABANTINE 300 daily for 7 days.
