What Causes Burning Sensation On Back Of The Neck?
Last night I got this burning sensation on the back of my neck. When my mother looked at it I had about 10 white bumps, they looked like mosquito bites. I took benadryl an put cortizone cream on it. Well when I woke up this morning I had more bumps on my chest and under my arm pit. I checked for bed bugs, didnt see any. Please help me! I need to know what it is. I thought it might have been shingles, but ive never had chicken pocks
It may be contact allergic dermatitis. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend you to apply mild steroid cream and to take a course of oral steroid in tapering dose. Also take antihistaminics like Desloratidine 5 mg daily till the itching is relieved. Avoid contact with soap.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
