What Causes Burning Sensation On Hands And Feet?

Last week, I had an allergic reaction to Aleve. Within minutes I had burning somewhat like a very bad yeast infection, then burning in my hands, feet, chest, then all over. I rushed to toilet, and evacuated everything in me all at once, and then passed out. When EMS got here I was in and out of it. I had no registerable blood pressure. Bubbles were in my mouth. What was that?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

This would be a severe allergic reaction,an anaphylactic reaction. This can present with the symptoms that you are describing.

It may be best to avoid all the drugs in this class. This includes aspirin, ibuprofen, cataflam, ketofen, celebrex, arcoxia.

If you wish to determine whether the allergy is limited to aleve then you can ask about allergy testing.

I hope this helps
