What Causes Burning Sensation On Leg, Mild Headache, Shivers In Rest Of The Body When In Beach?
hi dr Samuel, I was sitting out in the partly sunny backyard as I was locked out and waited for my parents to come back and didn't realise I got burnt in the legs but not anywhere else on my body, now I have this burning sensation on my leg, mild headache and cold shivers to the rest of the body, is it sunburn or sth else? Not long ago, I went to the beach and got like a rash but I had fever then, just want to make sure its not the same things as it got progressively worse and took a long time to go away. thanks
Hello, Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query. I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through. It seems you have a heat stroke. You should try to be indoors as much as possible and try to drink plenty of water. Hydrate yourself as much as you can. Take adequate sleep. Eat some light bland food. If the symptoms still persist for more than 4 hours then you should seek medical help. Hope I am able to answer your concerns. If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
