What Causes Burning Sensation On Legs Along With Chills Post Stung By Nettle?

I rubbed against Stinging Nettle on a hike today--it instantly made my leg feel as though it had been set on fire. This was twelve hours ago, and not only does it still hurt, but I ve been getting chills ever since. The chills are what concern me--it was in the nineties here today, yet there I was at the park, covered in goosebumps, with the chills. Is this cause for concern?
