What Causes Burning Sensation On Penis During Urination?

Hi Doc My gf and I had unprotected sex a week ago...eversince I ve been having a burning sensation in my penis and when urinating. I tend to have a certain urgency to urinate like every 20-30 minutes per say.I noticed dark patches around the head of my penis. Your assistance is very much appreciated.

Hi,

If you are sure its not sexually transmitted infection - you believe in your partner, then you can think of urinary tract infection. Doing a urine culture can help diagnose it.
