General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I would like to tell you that symptoms you have described happen when a nerve is pricked while drawing blood. Normally, it heals on its own though I have to tell you that it takes time to heal.

But if the pain increases in severity or there is any restriction of movement in that hand, you must immediately get yourself checked by a physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nazma Amman
