What Causes Burning Sensation On The Face And Inside The Mouth?

I have a burning sensation on my face and inside my mouth. No redness, nothing else........inside my mouth feels like I ate pepper, my face feels like I have a bad sunburn. Can't trace it to anything. I had sushi for lunch (not my normal lunch) and did some pruning in my yard this afternoon.

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

It looks like you have an allergic reaction to something that can be probably any food or even can be exposure to any chemicals, metal toxicity or environmental irritants..

No other cause is appearing to be relevant in your case..

So I would advise you to take benadryl and do cool water splashes on face.
For burning inside mouth you can gargle with Lidocaine mouthwash and suck ice..

Hopefully the symptoms will improve..
But in case if you do not feel better then consult an Emergency room and get evaluated and if there is some doubt a blood test can be done to check for allergies..
Treatment can be done accordingly..

Hope you get well soon..

Regards.
