What Causes Burning Sensation On The Finger Tips?

Second shot of neulasta yesterday. Woke up with the ends of my fingers feel like they have been burned. The only thing I can compare it to. My fingers don t like hot water. It is still in the thumb, index and middle fingers. I did call talked one of my team and they have not heard of this reaction. Since it is subsiding at this time not to concerned. I am just seeing if you have heard of this side effect.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Though it is not a common side effect of Neulasta, it is most likely possible due to the systemic effect of the Neulasta over the micro circulation through its colony stimulating factor actions. Needs further dose adjustments before proceeding for second dose.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
