Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was getting a burning sensation on the top part of my foreskin a few days ago, I thought it was nothing at first but then the next time I ejaculated I could feel my foreskin going all the way off my the head of my penis. I then started to bleed, the blood was a little more than an above average nose bleed in quantity, when I pee no blood comes out but now the burning sensation on my foreskin feels a lot worse, I was wondering maybe I tore a vein or something like that and what are all the options I can do about it or not do
Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have developed a fungal infection of Genital (Muco Cutaneous Genital Candidiasis).
I shall be happy if you can post me a few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Are you diabetic?
Irritation and inability to retract foreskin is common in an individual having diabetes.
Get your sugar levels on empty stomach and 2 hours after lunch has done to rule out /confirm the diagnosis.
Take antibiotics like Cefotaxime and antifungal medication like Fluconazole twice daily along with anti-fungal cream like Candid cream for local application over glans and foreskin.
If turn out to be diabetic consult qualified Diabetologist for proper treatment and dietary instructions.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
