What Causes Burning Sensation On The Penis Tip?

on erection I get a burning sensation on the penis tip ..around the head. This burning lasts for some time and then goes away. There is no burning on urination. No pain. I had a course of NORFLOX TZ 500 ..TEN TABLETS but that did not help. Sometimes there is a shooting pain near my hips.. not very often though. What should I do ?

I understand your concern
Burning sensation could be due to urethritis, prostatitis, allergic reaction, STD like gonorrhea, chlamydia.
I would suggest to consult the urologist and undergo rectal examination, urine tests, urethral swab test serum PSA and STD screening test
Treatment will depend on the cause
Urethritis require drugs like azithromycin or ceftriaxone
Drink plenty of water and juice of cranberry, orange and pineapple
Apply cetaphil moisturizer cream
Wash the penis with warm salted water
Wear pure cotton loose inner
