What Causes Burning Sensation On The Sole Of The Foot?

Hi, my mother is not able to have a proper sleep many days because she keeps having a burning sensation in her toe soul. she uses water, oil, ice to relax that but it hardly works. Why does it happen and What can she do? she is a hypothyroid patient and exercises regularly. Age:57, Height 5.3 ft, 68kg

Hi, have you been evaluated by a Surgeon or a Neurologist?
She could be having some nerve problems or arterial insufficiency.
Get her examined by a Neurologist and her pulses also need to be examined. This will be able to outline whether any investigations are required and then treatment can accordingly be started.
I usually prescribe my patients Pregabalin twice a day for such burning and pain.
