What Causes Burning Sensation On The Soles Of The Feet?
Dear Doctor, I m experiencing a burning sensation in the soles of my feet and a mild dull pain at the pressure points of my feet when i walk without footwear since a week.I m on diabetic medication of Duopil (metformin 500mg+glimepride 1mg)at night and I also take ayurvedic medicine BGR-34 2 tabs twice daily along with a multivitamin Becosules with zinc. my blood glucose varies from 125-160 (fasting).Pls kindly suggest a remedy to cure this condition.Thanking you.
Since you are diabetic it is possible that you are experiencing the symptoms of diabetic neuropathy. Foot care is an essential part for diabetics and I would advise you to discuss it with your physician who may do some tests to see whether the symptoms are because of neuropathy.
You should also get your blood uric acid levels checked as gout is another cause of foot pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nazma.amman,
