What Causes Burning Sensation On The Wrist?

Thank you. I have a recurring burning feeling that comes and goes several times during the day. It comes sometimes just above my wrist, sometimes on my wrist. I can be doing nothing and the burning will appear. Its a very bad burning feeling. Also when i go to do something with my right hand, sometimes my right wrist hurts. Please help diagnose.

Hello....i understand your concern.
It would help if you could tell me whether the burning is associated with any weakness or pain around the wrist.
It seems that you could be having carpal tunnel syndrome in which the median nerve at the wrist gets compressed.
Please consult your health care provider who can examine you and determine if that is the case. I would also advise you to get a thyroid panel and a complete sugar profile done. The condition is easily amenable to surgery which involves releiving the compressed nerve at the wrist joint.
Hope this helps.
