What Causes Burning Sensation, Pain And Spasms During Urination?

I have been checked for a urinary tract infection and it was negative but I have burning with urination and sometimes spasms and pain. I can sometimes control the pain by not eating salty foods or sweets. Should I see a urologist, gynecologist, or internal medicine doctor?

I being a surgeon, we encounter so many such cases and I can say that you a suffering from urinary tract infection, Uti.
I read your question completely and have understood it well enough...

Please note the following few facts..

1. Uti is the most common infection seen In women.
Because of voiding habits, where girls hold on to urine storage for long time.
Also, the anatomy makes them more vulnerable.

2. I don't know what tests you got to rule out Uti but please once again get these two tests done..
A. Urine routine and microscopy.
B. Urine culture and sensitivity..
This will give a clear picture of the exact status.

3. Additionally, you can also get a renal usg scan to see if any features of cystitis, stones anywhere from kidney to bladder.

4. Because I'm sure, without these pathological issues, you can never experience pain, burning urination.

5. In case you need any further treatment, I will guide you..

6. As of now, these tests are important. You can wait to see a urologist later..
