What Causes Burning Sensation Upon Stress After Treating A Lateral Malleolus Fracture?

Hi, I was diagnosed with a lateral malleolus fracture a week ago and put in a walking cast. I am experiencing a burning sensation around the break whenever I walk or put weight in that foot. Also, the first few nights I woke up with a pretty intense pain in my big toe. It felt similar to a hang nail but more intense. Are these normal pains or should I be concerned

Well come to HCM
If this is the fracture of malleolus then you are suppose to walk until it get completely healed, till then you need tale rest, such fractures needs surgical repair some time, actually it is depends upon the fracture, even the pain is still there even when you in bed then you suppose to see the orthopedic surgeon, take care.
