What Causes Burning Throat?

Hi! My 6 year old son s throat burns all the time, has been since around Dec., 2010. He s been tested for acid reflux; EE; and had samples from all the way down his throat during this procedure and all came back good! The doctor says to just reasure him that everything is fine, BUT it s not, because even after over 2 months his throat still burns, or hurts most all the time! what else can we do, or what other kind of doctor could we talk to?

Hello,

It may be due to chronic gastritis.

For that you can take tablet pantoprazole and syp mucaine gel after physician consultation.

Continue Betadine gargles twice a day.

Along with that avoid hot and spicy foods.

Keep your self hydrated.

Take balanced diet

Hope I have answered your query...
