Hi, I recently gave birth about five weeks ago. I started having a burning sensation when I pee after birth and I thought it s from the stitches but after the stitches healed I realized that it is coming from the urethra.every time I pee it burns on the opening and there s heavy pressure pain on the pubis after emptying my bladder. I went to consult and doctor said I have a bladder infection. I am breastfeeding and I was put on ceftriaxone injection, Flagyl tablets and amoxicillin tablets. I a now one day before finishing the course of antibiotics but now my labia minora burns whenever urine drops comes across it. The heavy pain is also still there but it doesn t hurt on the urethral opening anymore. Just contact of the labia minora and urine burns like hell.what could be causing this. I am done with the bleeding and I wear scented pantyliners now. Could they be the cause?
