General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Burning urination can be because of urine infection or changes in PH of urine. Taking alkaline syrup (three times a day) would also help. If burning is continuous then I would suggest repeat urine routine test and get urine culture test done to rule out sensitivity of medicines. Until that, complete your antibiotic course, and drink plenty of water.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Maheshwari
