What Causes Burnt And Acrid Sensation On My Tongue?

Hello, I've lost a taste on part of my tongue couple of weeks ago. All I can feel is kind of burnt and acrid sensation. Huge amount of papilae or whatever is it appeared on back of my tongue. My voice is a bit horse, I have sore throat and I feel pain on my chest and in my back. Could anyone kindly help please?

hello thanks for consulting at hcm..u might be having tonsillitis,,also papillitis-inflammation of taste buds,,,hence u cannot or taste feels diffrnt,, so do salt water gargle thrice daily,,clean the tongue with soft brush,,u may need antibiotics and analgesics,, if prblm persists kindly take aconsult with an ent specialist,, u may need multivitamin therapy also,, hope it helps,,, tc
