What Causes Burnt Smell Vaginal Secretions?

I m having burnt rubber smell vaginal secretions. I am 50, have been in a long drawn out divorce, and recently had sex twice ..(it has been almost 4 years since I have been with anyone). I just noticed a funny strong plastic rubber smell up near my cervix. I am wondering if I just need to use some yogurt and drink more water, or if it may be hormonal because I am postmenopausal, or if you think I may have contracted something from my partner?
