What Causes Burping A Beer Taste Post Gallbladder Removal?

i had my gall bladder removed 2 months ago. Yesterday my upper abdomen started hurting badly, I've had diarrea for 20 hrs. now and I'm burping a beer taste. Ihave had only a few sips of water and and a couple of spoonfuls of applesauce in the last 24 hrs. Why am I tasting beer Which I don't drink?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pain in upper abdomen and diarrhea suggest an gastrointestinal tract (GIT) infection.
Tasting of beer can be due to regurgitation of gastric contents into mouth or water brash.
The gastric contents are acidic and can cause beer like taste.
Apple sauce that you consumed few hours back is acidic and is the most probable cause of symptoms.
Removal of gall bladder is unlikely to cause these symptoms.

Thanks and take care
