What Causes Buttock And Hip Pains?

I been having pain in my buttocks and hips for some time now. Recently, my buttocks will burn and I can feel the heat externally. Also, I've had a number of test...including MRI and discovered nothing. My butt muscles have atrophied or something and my pants no longer fit me in the butt.
