What Causes Buttock And Leg Pain After A Aortic Bifemoral Bypass Surgery?

Is it possible for a aortic bifemoral bypass to not be sucessful? I underwent major surgery for this last August, and I having the same symptons before having this surgery. I have been smoke-free for almost a year next month. I have gained 30 lbs, so I am wandering if the buttock and leg pain are more of a symptom of the weight gain. I do have an appt. to see surgeon in a few weeks.
