What Causes Buzzing Sound In Head Along With Light Headedness?
Occassionally I get a buzzing sensation in my head and feel light headed as if I am going to pass out. It passes really quickly but if can feel odd afterwards. I am 63 years old and I am in good health. I take medication for indigestion and chlosterol (which is about 3)

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have buzzing sound in head along with light headedness. which can occur due to accumulation of ear wax, ear fluid, ear infection to more serious acoustic neuroma like condition. Need not to worry. The symptoms you mention in query can also occur due to sinusitis and Eustachian tube like condition. If your symptoms and episodes of earache are getting frequent then you should consult ENT specialist and start treatment after prescription. Doctor may prescribe drug like eperisone , muscle relaxant and sedatives. Maintain hygiene and avoid pricking it with sharp object. Doctor may order certain test like audiometry , CT scan ,MRI , low and high pitched ringing. Doctor may treat it according to the diagnosis , may prescribe medicine antibiotics. Do mind relaxing exercises like meditation and yoga.
