What Causes Capacitance While Suffering From Epilepsy?

My husband has controlled epilepsy, but lately he appears to have a build up of capacitance in his body. He can be sitting on a couch and all of a sudden a touch-type lamp will turn on. Last night he woke up 5-6 different times within a half hour because the lamp on his end table would suddenly come on. Could this increased body capacitance have anything to do with his epilepsy and could it possibly be a signal for an upcoming seizure?

Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. It has got nothing to do with an impending seizure attack.
