What Causes Cerebral Volume Loss?

I had an MRI which showed mild cerebral volume loss. I have been having seizures over the last few years, which I hadn t experienced since I was a child. I have Phthisical bulbi. I want to know if the cerebral volume loss it s a result of my eye or the seizures. Still not sure why I m having seizures.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

You may be having some congenital anomalies of brain that may resulted in seizure. The brain anomaly has caused the seizure, not the reverse.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
