Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi doctor, i am suffering from cervix appears hypertropied and thickness of the cervix is more than the thickness of the uterus ,there is fluid in the vagina .I have a pinkish discharge all over the month.please guide me doctor. I am very much worried.
Hypertrophied cervix or cervicitis is usually caused by infections that are passed during sexual activity. But many women with cervicitis don't test positive for any type of infection.
The pinkish discharge that you are experiencing is due to cervicitis. You may not need treatment for cervicitis if a sexually transmitted infection is not the cause.
But you will have to be investigated in order to come toa definitive causative factor so you need to consult your doctor for further evaluation and management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
