What Causes Change In Hair Texture After Shoulder Surgeries?

I have a friend that has had two shoulder surgeries in the last 2.5 years. She has experienced the craziest change in her hair. It has gone from soft and fine, but easily curled to totally stiff and straight to the point that even the beautician can t get it to stay around a curler and it will NOT hold curl. Also, her teeth in the last year pretty much went to chalky and flaky and began to crumble-like. She had to have them pulled and false teeth. There was nothing wrong with them prior. Any ideas?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

* As per my clinical experience, the change in hair texture seems to be related to underlying hormone imbalance or other metabolic alterations as there is also tooth changes as well.

Hope this will make you clear the issue.
