What Causes Change In Nature Of Periods?

hi, i am 19 years old and have recently noticed my periods are really strange. the last one was 2 to 3 days when its usually 5. i stop quickly without spotting and while i'm on it i bleed a lot and cramp to bad too move. each period is a new experience in the past year. help
