What Causes Change In The Flow Of Menstruation?

I ve been on birth control for about 6 months now and i am sexually active. my expected period was to start Christmas day and I started spotting Christmas eve, My period is not as heavy as it should be and my discharge is mostly brown rather then being bright red? what can cause this?

Thank you for asking the question.
You are taking OC pills and now you had stopped it. So once you stop it and when menstruation start the period become irregular but nothing to worry about slight discharge and colour. As the months pass both these things become normal. So wait for few months and enjoy your days.
