I have had a mole on my inner lip of my vagina since I could remember. When I wiped myself after going to the bathroom this evening, it was raised and hardened. It was not like this when I showered this morning. What can this be? Why did the mole change?
Hallow, I have gone through your query and have understood your concern.
Moles are present anywhere on the skin of the body. They remain as they are from the beginning. Occasionally, few new moles do appear, but remain of the same size and consistency.
If a mole starts increasing in size, shape and/or changes its consistency, one has to investigate it thoroughly to find out whether any untoward changes like cancer are taking place in the mole. Sometimes, the mole undergoes cancerous changes to form malignant melanoma.
Please report to your Gynaecologist to get investigated properly.
