What Causes Chest Discomfort After Receiving An IV Infusion Of Ceftazidime?

My dad is getting a home IV infusion of ceftazidime twice a day. He is now feeling something is happening in his chest, he is assuming his heart, and he wants to know if there are side effects related the the heart. He is not able to describe the feeling in his chest. He has never had it before.
