What Causes Chest Discomfort From Center Radiating Towards Right Side?

Hello, My blood pressure is 140 over 104, I have been having some weird feeling in my chest area especially when I lay on my left side. It's not painful but, I know it's not right. The feeling seems to originate just Below the center of my rib cage and goes upward more so just below my right breast. I currently take blood pressure medicine and began feeling this way yesterday, shortly after having 1.5 cups of coffee, which I normally do not have.

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have chest discomfort from center radiating towards right side . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like chest infection , muscle spasm and cardiac problems . In your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to cardiac problem , moreover the diastolic blood pressure is also very hight which is pointing towards a secondry hypertension . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ECG , TMT , and complete blood profile . Doctor may prescribe betablockers , frusamide , sedatives , aspirin and isosorbid nitrate .
