Hello A couple weeks ago I strained my chest muscle on the left side I went to the hospital because the irritation was just out of control that they took the EKG and blood work results came back fine they prescribe me with ibuprofen 800 mg couple weeks later the irritation is still there and now The middle of my chest is becoming inflamedMy family thinks is just heartburn but the irritation is consistent I’ve been taking Zantac which comes it down a little bit but if you hours later it’s back. From the left side too the middle of my chest is inflammed

If you still taking Ibuprofen, kindly stop taking it and continue Zantac. Ibuprofen can cause gastritis and it's better to stop taking it. For pain, you can take Paracetamol.
