What Causes Chest Discomfort Upon Slight Exertion With Dizzy And Fainting Spells?

I was in Heart failure in Nov I have had improvemnt with Metoprolol 100 mg a day. Last several ekg have been abnormal. Had abnormal T wave during stress test. I also have fast heart rate why the meds. Wore a holter monitor which caught 8 supraventricular beats rare PAC what it had said. Even with the beta blocker i am symptomatic and dont feel as if I have had improvement. When should I be concerned supra beats could this cause the chest discomfort that I have been feeling. On two occasions under some excertion (pacing self and resting) i have gotten dizzy seeing black spots like I would pass out, second occasion ended up vomiting several times followed by being very weak. My cardiologist does nt seem concern and say things look good. HELP ME UNDERSTAND. at a different appt the other day 3 hrs after taking meds my HR was 110, still high

Hi,

Stressful excretions can cause symptoms of dizziness that you have. Insufficient oxygen supply during the activity is the result of cardiac insufficiency. You need to be under the care of a heart specialist and follow his advice. I would suggest angiography and angioplasty if indicated. You can have stool softener to minimize the straining during excretion.
