Hi thanks for contacting HCM... Your mother having functional digestive problem mainly .... The constipation seems to be associated here .... So it can lead reffered chest discomfort .... Take pentoprazole capsule for two week ... Avoid gastric irritants like excess spicy foods and excess tea and coffe .... For proper digestion fiber supplement can be taken... Whole grain , wheat bran , fruits , green leafy veg taken more . Heavy meal and non veg avoided ... If constipation more take ispaghula with milk .... Drink more water ... Eat slowly .. Gas forming foods restricted like onion , turnip , cabbage etc. Take care .. If still no improvement than USG abdomen can be done ....for further work up... Advise : gastroenterologist consultation if no improvement ...
