What Causes Chest Infection Along With Cough And Shortness Of Breath?

I am a 54 year old female who recently became ill with what the doc states is a chest infection. He placed me on a Zpac about 4 days ago and gave me benzonatate for cough and something for nausea. I m still very weak and my doc office was closed today. Since I have asthma, I was thinking of using my pro air inhaler. I also have Symbicort although I rarely use it. The only thing I take regularly for breathing is Singular. My temp has been running between 98.4 - 100.8. I cough up a lot and this leads to me feeling short of breath. Any suggestions?

Hi,

In my view being asthmatic, you should take steroid spray inhaler you have to avoid wheezing &excess cough apart from a pack. along with Grillinctus BM cough syrup to control the cough.

Add Nutrolin B forte capsules once a day. Take rest. Take light nourishing food (avoiding allergen), be away from dust, smoke, cold or spicy, oily food or sour things. See a chest specialist in case of no relief on 4-5 days.
