What Causes Chest Itching Upon Exerting Shoulder And Back Muscles?

Hello doc, my name is imran khan and l m 33 years old a professional personel. Doc, since the last 10 month s i feel chest itching, that sometimes become very teasing especially at night. For that i met couple of time with my doctor, in the begaining he just treat me as a depressed patient and prescribed some anti represented medicine, then after some time he referred me to a arthopedic doctor, after a detail meetins and to known about the history, especially when i told him about my some acessive exercises he suggested that due to back shoulder muscles depresen i feel the itching in chest. I already done an ecg and cholesterol tests all was fine. But still i have the same problem. For some time when i started the prescribed medicibe of arthopedic doc then feel better, but i think i need some permanent solution of it. Could you please suggests something special? Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have chest itching upon exerting shoulder and back muscles. Vasically that is not itching its probably a kind of pinching pain. Well as your have lifted very heavy weight , sometimes this may lead to spasm of trapezius or injury to related ligament due tilting of heavy load on one side . poor posture is also one of the reason for suck kind of pain . the probable reasons for chest pain are compressed fracture or nerve impingement due to heavy weight . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination and rule out causes related to heart . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant , calcium supplement , anti inflammatory or recommend you for stretching and physical therapy . If your are experiencing dizziness n weakness or shortness of breath then there is a possibility of heart disease , In that case refer to cardiologist .
