What Causes Chest Pain After A Hernia Surgery?

male 74 years old. Just had double hernia surgery 11/6. Have pain in left side of my chest almost under left arm. No fever now. Did go to emergency room for similar pain about 2 years ago-no heart issue and cause for pain was undetermined. Richard Lewis

There is no relation between inguinal hernia surgery and chest pain.
Get your ECG done to rule out angina pain.
If it's not, simply take tablet diclofenac + chlorzoxazone 12 hourly 1-2 days.
