What Causes Chest Pain Along With Heart Palpitations?

I had an EKG done today Bc I ve had some chest pain and palpitations that kind of take my breath away. The doc said it read slightly abnormal and wants me to have a stress test and ultrasound of the heart. What does this mean? Could I have blockage? I am super worried. I m a 30 year old female and I m healthy.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello,
welcome to HCM,
first of all i shall tell you not to panic.
there are multiple causes of chest pain and palpititions like
blockage,psychological,hyperthyroid,vulvular disorder,rythm disturbance etc.
from the plan of investigation your doctor have prescribed it looks like a block.but blockage does not mean you are going to have an ACUTE CORONARY SYNDROME within next few days,it depends upon the % of block and type of angina you r having.
now a days advanced treatment are there so you can live healthy long life after diagnosed with a blockage.
so stay calm and go through the test.
hope this is helpful,
regards.
