What Causes Chest Pain Along With Muscle Spasms And Nausea?
Last night, I had an issue with chest pain. It felt similar to having a charlie horse in a leg muscle, but it felt like it was in my lungs and diaphragm. It was extremely painful to lay flat or stand straight, and was only really bearable if I was doubled over a pillow. After about 30 minutes of the spasms, I forcefully vomited several times. After, the pain went away. I never felt nauseous and never had a stomach ache, only the muscle spasms in the chest/lung area
The chest pain located in your lungs and diaphragm associated with nausea and vomiting is suggesting possible vertebral spine problems (spondyloarthritis or any acute issue). The nearby nerves are being compressed causing spasms of muscle.
However, if I was your caring doctor would run a few tests to rule out stomach and biliary colic first.
Take analgesic meds you find over the counter. Have light meals. Discuss this further with orthopedic specialist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
