What Causes Chest Pain Along With Shortness Of Breath?
I have been experiencing chest pain in both the front and the back. I have asthma and assumed it was that but my medication isn t helping. I am short of breath and know it sounds cardiovascular but have all tests have been normal. I have a slight cough which is deep and sharp. It s been going on for about 2 weeks now.

As your all cardiac tests are normal, any cardiac ailment is ruled out.
This problem might be due to having asthmatic bronchitis giving rise inter coastal muscular pain due to deep and strenuous cough.
Take some cough suppressant syrup.
Go for deep breathing exercises daily.
Ok and take care.
