General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The chest pain and eye symptoms you are experiencing is likely to be unrelated. Acute pain, redness, and blurry vision are concerning for possibility of conditions like glaucoma (increased intraocular pressure), optic neuritis etc. These conditions are serious requiring immediate medical attention. Delay in initiating treatment can lead to serious complication including vision loss. Chest pain and episodic irregular heartbeats warrants evaluation with EKG, stress test and 24-hour Holter monitoring to rule our cardiac arrhythmia and coronary artery disease. Please be advised to follow up with the emergency room as soon as possible for necessary evaluation and management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal
