Hello I am a cna for a client wirh GERD. the trouble mostly is when eating meat-I try talking to her to get her to slow down eating, and try to get her to eat more slowly., also have tried putting lots of gravy on meat, and cutting it up very small, 1/2 cm size bites, but after the meat (white chickesn) thick thick stringy mucous, pain in chest and trouble breating and real high voice--how can I help her? she is 88

So best treatment is to avoid such food. Or you can give combination of pantoprazole and levosulperide twice daily on empty stomach.
