What Causes Chest Pain And Dizziness While Breathing?

IT HURTS TO BREATH WHEN THE AIR IS COLD OUTSIDE. I FEEL DIZZIE AND MY CHEST HURTS. I HAVE HAD A STRESS TEST THAT WAS NORMAL AND A CAT SCAN OF MY CHEST AND IT WAS NORMAL. WHEN THE WEATHER IS WARM OUTSIDE IT, I M OK. NEVER BEEN BOTHERED WITH THIS BEFORE. WHAT IS CAUSING THIS?

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
You are having cold induced bronchospasm.
Cold air is causing bronchoconstriction in sensitive individuals.
So on exposure to cold environment, cold air is going in the lungs, so this will stimulate constriction in the airways and you feel breathlessness.
Once this exposure is not there, your airways will dilate and so you don't feel breathlessness.
The treatment of this is avoidance of cold weather. Or you can take short acting bronchodilators just before cold exposure.
